Football Academy
As a football academy, we offer a high energy, fun, creative and age-appropriate introduction to physical activity through football. It is also a great opportunity for children and young people to make friends.
Our football sessions are suitable for ages 6-12 years and ideal for those wanting to get into football at grassroots level. All sessions are inactive and fun, with an emphasis on both the physical and social development of our children.
Sessions will teach the fundamental skills in football: passing and receiving, shooting, decision making, dribbling, touch and ball control Skills and tricks.
Sessions take place every Saturday from 9.30am to 10.30am at Pelican Park. All sessions run throughout the autumn and winter months, weather permitting. Sessions cost only £5 per child, with a reward scheme in place.
LITTLE KICKERS
FOOTBALL SESSIONS
Little Kickers is the perfect introduction to the fun game of football. All children are introduced to the basics of football (dribbling, striking, goal scoring) in a play-orientated yet structured format. Using child friendly but realistic football equipment. Each child is given the opportunity to work within their ability level but taught in a group environment.
Sessions also provide a fantastic opportunity for you to assist in our child’s education, helping develop physically as well as improving cognitive and social skills.
Session features:
- Parent participation,
- 45-minute sessions taking place weekly
- Each child will receive a football shirt
Badges and certificates awarded throughout the sessions.
