"TOGETHER WE GROW"
Pelican Rangers Football Club established in 2017, with only 4 teams affiliated to the East Riding County FA.
Through our football development pathway, we started to grow teams from the academy sessions. creating further junior teams.
It wasn't long before the Club expanded in creating further teams - with over 15 teams including boys, girls and adults.
The Club prides itself on becoming an affiliated FA Charter Standard Community Club. The Club colours are blue/black with an orange and blue logo. The awaay kits are orange/black.
In 2018 the Club held its very first Football Tournament over a full weekend., to help raise vital funds towards a club house. Later that year, a purpose built community club house opened its doors to the community.
This provided 2 large changing rooms with showers, 2 smaller changing areas, toilets, offices, main hall, kitchen area and storage - with a total cost of £352,000.
The community building is now used to full capacity with lots of sport and social activities taking place every day!
A large amount of investment has also taken place on the field area, to improve much needed football pitches at Pelican Park.
Another investment of £120,000 allowed us to turn two un-used tennis courts into a MUGA (multi-use games area), which provides a safe playing environment for football, netball and basketball.
The Clubs Ethos is to create a safe environment for all sports, allowing people of all ages to play safe!
"TOGETHER WE GROW" - Pelican Rangers AFC provides a friendly, competitive and inclusive footballing learning environment.
A Club where players of all ages, abilities and gender can develop their skills, knowledge and individual creativity, a place to grow the game of football at grassroots level.
